ABOUT THE ARTIST
These images have their genesis in 1965. Photography is an evolutionary process. Not only have our cameras evolved but so has our ability to see. It may be unusual to view autos as sculpture and works of art yet with the right vision they become so.
All of the work displayed here is a mixture of photography and oil painting. Our reasoning is simple. We feel this technique limits the distraction of setting. While the setting of some photographs enhances the photo, the background here is secondary to the classic beauty and magnificance of the subject.
